LIMATA GmbH
Limata GmbH was founded in January 2010 by Matthias Nagel and Attila Heim, former students of the Institute of Electrotechnics at the Munich University of Applied Science. They developed a direct image transfer technology for Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) based on UV LED. Direct imaging with LED bears all the advantages of a direct imaging technology but avoids the drawbacks of the complex and cost intensive Laser Direct Imager. The advantages for the customer are obvious: low investment combined with reduced production, maintenance and energy cost. This new technology has been granted several awards in a short period of time and won the interest and support of three distinguished public and private investors due to the high level of innovation.
